Introduction to BU Type Rod Seals
BU type rod seals are single-acting seals used for rod sealing and buffer sealing in hydraulic cylinders
mainly used for hydraulic cylinder sealing in mobile hydraulic applications, such as hydraulic cylinders of construction machinery like concrete pump trucks, loaders and excavators. It can adapt to harsh working environments and frequent pressure changes.

BU Piston rod buffer oil seal

The BU type rod seal is a compact seal with a retaining ring. This kind of seal is mainly used in construction machinery oil cylinder sealing system as a buffer seal. Under extreme conditions, the cylinder pressure is often as high as 1000bar. The BU type piston rod seal isolates the main oil seal from this load. Due to its special construction, this seal transfers the pressure developed between the main oil seal and the buffer seal back to the system. This seal can be used singly or configured in series. Mainly used for hydraulic sealing of mobile machinery.
